RESTON, VA — Fairfax County NAACP, Restonstrong, and Reston Patch hosted a virtual candidate forum for House of Delegates District 7 on Tuesday night, giving the public a chance to meet the candidates, hear their campaign platform and ask questions.

Candidates Mary Barthelson, Paul Berry, Karen Keys-Gamarra and Shyamali Hauth are competing in the Democratic Party Primary on June 20 to determine who will be on the Nov. 7 ballot.

Barthelson, Keys-Gamarra and Shyamali Hauth participated in the panel, which was moderated by and Bianca Moskaitis and Herb Williams-Baffoe of the Reel II Real Podcast and Reston Patch editor Michael O'Connell. Berry was unable to participate in Tuesday night's panel because he was traveling due to a death in his family.

Early voting in Fairfax County got underway on May 5 and runs through this Saturday. More voter information is available online.
