Friday, June 5: Celebrate Fairfax!
Celebrate Fairfax! Northern Virginia’s largest communitywide celebration takes place June 5-7 at the Fairfax County Government Center. The 25-acre site is magically filled with fascinating sights and sounds of more than 300 exhibitors, food vendors, crafters and interactive activities. Celebrate Fairfax! showcases live concerts, a petting zoo, carnival rides and great festival foods. Nightly fireworks are a highlight. C&O Canal History — A Journey Through Potomac History: Mike High, author of the “C&O Canal Companion,” takes you on a virtual tour of the Potomac River waterway.
