1. Henrico pulls Flock camera access for 10 fire marshals (nbc12.com) β Henrico County has revoked Flock license plate reader access for 10 fire marshals after realizing state law doesn't allow fire department employees to use the database. Officials say the marshals' prior use in Richmond-area arson cases was lawful in intent, but any Flock evidence they gathered likely won't be admissible in court going forward.

2. Richmond High School for the Arts prepares to open new building (nbc12.com) β Richmond High School for the Arts is welcoming students into a brand-new Southside building next week, months earlier than planned after flooding closed the old facility. The modern campus features a 933-seat auditorium, new gym and arts spaces, and will eventually anchor a citywide arts program while the old building is demolished for upgraded sports facilities.
