Virginia Native Plants

Ages 16+. Want to learn how to how to make gardening easier, more rewarding, and beneficial for wildlife? Presented by Virginia Master Naturalist, Riverine Chapter, this program will answer the following questions: What is a native plant? Why are native plants important? Why should we care about invasive species? Does my yard really matter? Includes alternatives for commonly grown invasives. Some examples of garden redesign and incorporating natives in existing plantings will be shown.
