Chesterbrook Academy Preschoolers Donate Food to Local Nonprofit

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Old Pump Road in Richmond recently donated more than 100 food items to The Sophie House, a local nonprofit that benefits women and children in need. At the close of the drive, students sorted the items and helped prepare the donation for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

The Sophie House provides encouragement, supportive services and housing for women and children to help move them from instability to stability.
