Driver And Vehicle Sought From Hit And Run Injuring Juvenile In Richmond
The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the driver and vehicle which struck a juvenile pedestrian on Chamberlayne Avenue last month before leaving the scene.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 16, officers were called to the 4900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue for a hit and run. Officers arrived and found an injured juvenile male who reported being struck by a vehicle being driven southbound on Chamberlayne Avenue. The vehicle stopped briefly before leaving the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
The vehicle was described as being a four-door Toyota, white in color, with a possible Virginia license plate of UNJ-4366.
