Graze Craze Opens New Charcuterie Shop in Richmond

Graze Craze®, a fast-growing charcuterie and grazing board franchise known for its artfully arranged food displays and catering services, has opened a new shop at 1318 Gaskins Road in the Gayton Crossing Shopping Center in Richmond. The locally owned shop, operated by Laurel and Greg Otey, offers handcrafted charcuterie boards, grazing boxes, and catering services designed for events, corporate gatherings, celebrations, and everyday entertaining to “Celebrate Everything.”

“The Richmond area has such a strong sense of community, and we’re excited to introduce something fresh and creative to the local food scene,” said Laurel Otey. “Graze Craze stood out to us because it combines our passions for food, design, and hospitality in a way that fosters connection. It’s an opportunity to bring people together through a variety of beautiful, shareable charcuterie offerings.”

Graze Craze’s signature boards are created by trained Grazologists™, combining premium Boar’s Head® meats and cheeses, fresh fruits, vegetables, house-made dips, and sweet treats. Each board is crafted for flavor, balance, and visual appeal. Boards are available in multiple sizes, made fresh to order, and include gluten free options, making them ideal for office catering, parties, date nights, and special events.

Local Owners Combine Creative and Government Experience at New Charcuterie Business

Laurel and Greg Otey bring diverse professional experience to their locally-owned Graze Craze location, serving the greater Richmond area. Originally from North Carolina, the couple met at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and began their careers in Washington, D.C., before relocating to Richmond with their three daughters.

Laurel transitioned from interior design to publishing, serving as an editor for City Lifestyle magazines in the Richmond area, and is the founder of Layered Living, a national wellness education business. Greg has more than 20 years of federal experience, including national security roles with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Department of State, before moving into private-sector government contracting.

Grand Opening Celebration  
Graze Craze Richmond will host an official grand opening and ribbon-cutting event on Monday, April 27 | 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. where attendees can enjoy complimentary samples, giveaways and a first look at the new charcuterie shop. The event will be held in partnership with Little Hands Virginia, a nonprofit supporting families with young children ages 0-3 years across Central Virginia. Graze Craze will donate 10% of grand opening week sales to the organization.
