LogistiCare Employees from Mechanicsville Raise Funds for NKF

On October 20, numerous LogistiCare employees joined area residents to support the 2018 Central Virginia Kidney Walk at the Innsbrook North Shore Commons in Glen Allen. These participants and volunteers represented every aspect of kidney disease and supported Virginia kidney patients. LogistiCare, the nation’s largest non-emergency medical transportation broker, was a national team sponsor for the Walk. The local team of employees and their families and friends raised close to $5,000 to date. In the past four years, LogistiCare employees have formed Kidney Walk teams that raised and donated a total of nearly $400,000 from operations centers across the country. Last year, approximately 2,300 LogistiCare employees nationwide raised more than $155,000, surpassing the company’s previous record of $129,000 in 2016. In 2018, the company has set a nationwide goal of raising $165,000, which would be its highest one year total to date.
