Richmond Police Department: One Fatality, One Injured In Fairfax Avenue Death Investigation
Minutes later, officers were called to the 1700 block of Fairfax Avenue for the report of a person down. Officers arrived, police said.

Approximately
3:58 p.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of Commerce Road for the
report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found an adult male who reported
being involved in an altercation. He was not suffering from a gunshot wound but
had visible injuries.

Minutes
later, officers were called to the 1700 block of Fairfax Avenue for the report
of a person down. Officers arrived and found an adult male in a vehicle,
suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, down and unresponsive. He was
pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical
Examiner will determine cause and manner of death. Officers
found a second male a half block away in an alley, who was suffering from an
apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries
that were considered life threatening. Detectives
believe the incidents are related. Anyone
