Richmond Police Department: Victim Identified In Cypress Street Homicide

Sunday morning at approximately 5:11 a.m., Richmond Police responded to the 1100 block of Cypress Street for the report of a shooting.

Police detectives have identified the victim in Sunday’s homicide on Cypress
Street as Michael Gregory, 18, of Richmond.

morning at approximately 5:11 a.m., Richmond Police responded to the 1100
block of Cypress Street
for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and
located Gregory with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local
hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The
Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death. Anyone
with information about this homicide is asked to call Major Crimes Detective
