I am not a doctor but we use time honored, holistic ways to heal and I teach it. We do honor wholesale. We are a better than organic homestead (because we do not use any toxins) using regenerative practices, that grow and wild crafts powerful daily needs and gifts, beauty products and holistic health supports. Everything from sunscreen, pain care that helps you recover quicker, skin care, bug spray, we hand milk our goats, infuse organic oils with what we grow, for truly luscious Goat Milk and Tallow soaps. I formulate medicinal and delicious teas, Fire Cider, use the salts from The Dead Sea, the Sea of Cortez and Celtic salt to create an amazing magnesium and nutrient spray and body butter using organic mango butter. Our reviews are astounding and so much of what we do has been by request and of course, is what my family uses. Items like our anti-itch and healing salve and hormone balancing salve, the skin serum and shampoo bars, a powerful dermatitis salve, using the wax from our beehives, as beekeepers and the tinnitus tea with several wins behind it, and wow! Simple Solutions Psychiatry, LLC—located in Short Pump and serving Richmond and surrounding areas—is now accepting Aetna Better Health and Humana Medicaid members for Mental Health Skill Building (MHSS) services. What is MHSS? MHSS is a Medicaid community-based program that helps adults with mental health challenges build the skills needed to live independently and maintain emotional and daily stability. Services are provided in the home and in the community by qualified professionals. MHSS supports individuals who need help with managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or PTSD; improving medication consistency; developing coping and emotional regulation skills; strengthening daily living skills such as cleaning, hygiene, nutrition, and routines; and building healthy social connections. MHSS also assists with organization, budgeting, employment readiness, and navigating community resources such as housing and benefits. A Step-Down Service MHSS is often used as a step-down after psychiatric hospitalization, Community Stabilization, CSB crisis services, residential programs, IOP/PHP, ED discharges, or case management referrals. Our team responds quickly to referrals from case managers, discharge planners, therapists, and community providers. Our Commitment We provide compassionate, person-centered, strengths-based care. Our team meets clients where they are and helps them work toward realistic, sustainable goals with consistent support, flexible scheduling, and strong communication. Two Richmond skilled nursing centers - <a href="https://canterburyrehab.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Canterbury Rehabilitation &amp; Healthcare Center</a> and <a href="https://southamptonhc.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Southampton Rehabilitation &amp; Healthcare Center</a> - have come together to host a donation drive for the seniors who have been affected as a result of the fire. The centers are collecting toiletries and personal care items through the end of July that will go directly to Darby House residents. Donations can be dropped off at Canterbury's campus, located at 1776 Cambridge Drive, or Southampton's campus, located at 7246 Forest Hill Avenue.

When a relationship ends, it can feel like the earth has shifted beneath you. Divorce, separation, or parting from a partner can bring waves of grief—but healing is possible.
For 36 years, Divorce Recovery Workshop (DRW) at Richmond’s First Baptist Church has been a lifeline for thousands of people in these moments—a place to find understanding, strength, and hope when the future feels uncertain.
Eight consecutive Sunday sessions from 5-7:30 p.m. in Flamming Hall. The cost with pre-registration is $75 by September 17, $85 after.
We welcome the young and elementary school-age children of our participants: we provide child care for babies through pre-school age children and we offer age-appropriate activities and programming for kindergarteners through 5th graders. These offerings are FREE and your child will be provided snacks or a light meal.
We approach this program as an outreach to all people with our mission to help anyone who is suffering. People of all faiths, or none, are warmly welcomed. We do not evangelize, preach, read scripture, or proselytize during the workshop. We offer a program to help everyone who is suffering from the loss of a love relationship to heal from the emotional pain of their loss.
