Victim Identified In West Bacon Street Homicide In Richmond
On Tuesday at approximately 9:58 p.m., officers were called to the 600 block of West Bacon Street for the report of a person down.

Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim of this week’s homicide on West Bacon Street as Darrick Tabb, 22, of Richmond.

On Tuesday at approximately 9:58 p.m., officers were called to the 600 block of West Bacon Street for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and found an adult male, Tabb, in an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have learned from those in the area that gunshots were heard at approximately 8 p.m., although police were not called at that time. Detectives are investigating and ask anyone in the area who saw suspicious activity around 8 p.m. or later to contact detectives.
