Virginia Lottery Ticket Error: You May Need New Tickets
Tickets purchased at a certain time on Friday, Oct. 27 are invalid for the Halloween drawing. See here if you need new ones.

VIRGINIA — The Virginia lottery is warning players that bought Mega Millions tickets on Friday, Oct. 27, between 10:45 p.m. and 11:51 p.m. that there is an issue with the tickets purchased in that time frame.
A technical error happened when the Virginia Lottery was upgrading its gaming system, they say on their website. "A small number of Mega Millions tickets under the old game were produced/sold incorrectly in Virginia for one hour," the website says.
But, all Mega Millions tickets will be honored alongside any prizes won by those tickets, the website says, though refunds and prize payments cannot be processed at Lottery retailers.
