Development of historic Poage Farm underway (wvtf.org) — A long-time Roanoke County landmark along Route 221, historic Poage Farm, is being transformed into a 118-home subdivision after the county schools sold the land to a private developer. Forever Fosters needed for senior pets at Angels of Assisi in Roanoke (wsls.com) — Angels of Assisi in Roanoke is urgently seeking "Forever Foster" homes for senior and medically fragile pets like Hank, a 15-year-old blind beagle mix. The shelter covers all medical costs while local families provide daily care and love, and residents can also help by short-term fostering, volunteering, or taking dogs out for day trips to boost adoptions.
4.
