Crews are now installing water and sewer lines that will eventually extend toward Back Creek Elementary and nearby neighborhoods, while some residents worry about noise and added traffic as home prices are projected in the $350,000–$400,000 range.

Forever Fosters needed for senior pets at Angels of Assisi in Roanoke (wsls.com) — Angels of Assisi in Roanoke is urgently seeking "Forever Foster" homes for senior and medically fragile pets like Hank, a 15-year-old blind beagle mix. The shelter covers all medical costs while local families provide daily care and love, and residents can also help by short-term fostering, volunteering, or taking dogs out for day trips to boost adoptions.
