MRP Realty Debuts Luxe Officer Tower, Tysons Overlook

Primary tenant of 11-story building is LMI, a government-consulting firm, also a co-owner of the building.

MRP Realty, developers of commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate across the Washington area and Rockpoint Group, L.L.C., a real estate private equity firm, on Wednesday unveiled Tysons Overlook, a new office tower located at 7940 Jones Branch Dr. in Tysons Corner.

Tysons Overlook is an 11-story, 308,000 square foot office building situated at the northwest corner of the newly constructed Jones Branch Drive/HOT Lanes and Jones Branch Connector Road intersection. MRP and Rockpoint structured a presale to LMI, a government-consulting firm currently based in McLean and who will be serving as the primary tenant. LMI will occupy the first six floors as co-owners of the property.

“The Northern Virginia office market, particularly the submarket of Tysons Corner, is commanding a premium today with the arrival of the Silver Line and Tysons Overlook with its proximity to many transportation gateways will make it a desirable location for businesses to locate,” said Bob Murphy, managing partner of MRP Realty. “Tysons Overlook offers flexible workplace solutions so that the changing needs of today’s businesses in our area will be able to customize what their operations require.”
