New App Finds Closest Bathroom for Silver Line Metro
The website gives directions to the closest bathroom for every station in the DC Metro system.

TYSONS CORNER, VA -- Tysons Corner commuters can find a bathroom at their station, but bathrooms at other D.C. Metro stations can be a rare and valuable find.
Owners of the local HVAC servicing company Michael and Son said they decided to band together and create an online map to help all the desperate commuters with full bladders out there.
"If you’ve ever gone searching for a toilet while on your daily commute, you may have found it to be inaccessible or entirely nonexistent. But, when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go!" the company says on the map site.

The app identifies Metro stations with a dot and the closest bathroom with a blue toilet icon. Clicking the toilet icon gives directions from the station and an ease of access rating.
For instance, Tysons Corner travelers going to Foggy Bottom-GWU would find the closest public bathroom is a few blocks north. The icon closest to the station gives these directions to the nearest public bathroom:

Step 1: Exit the metro station through the only exit.
Step 2: At the top of the escalator take a sharp left and enter the hospital through the glass doors.
Step 3: Take another sharp left and enter the cafeteria.
Step 4: Walk straight back towards the coffee shop, follow signs for "restrooms" and make a right down a short hallway with bathrooms for both men and women.
