Person Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Fairfax County House Fire

The cause of the blaze was under investigation.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a house fire Saturday in the Dunn Loring area, according to authorities.

The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department responded just before 6:40 p.m. to reports of smoke coming from a two-story house and arrived to find both smoke and fire, authorities said.

One occupant was taken to receive medical attention for life-threatening injuries, according to authorities, who said that the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
