Police Blotter: Man Assaults Cop on Rt. 7

Assault

7800 block of Leesburg Pike, 2/16/13, 5 a.m. Officers responded for a suspicious person. They found a man allegedly intoxicated. When officers attempted to arrest him he allegedly kicked an officer. Barry Womack, 25, of Arlington, was charged with drunk in public and assault on a police officer.
