Police Blotter: Pedestrian Killed at Dunn Loring Metro Identified

UPDATE on Fatal Crash

Gallows Road and Prosperity Avenue, 3/6/13, 9:50 p.m. The pedestrian has been identified as Ai Ying Zhu, 53, of Falls Church. A pedestrian was crossing Gallows Road not at the intersection. A vehicle struck her and the driver waited and called the police. The pedestrian died at a local hospital. The case is still under investigation. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
