• 80-pound lunar robot built by students targets future Artemis missions (interestingengineering.com) — University of Virginia engineering students are building an 80‑pound lunar-mining robot they hope will shine in NASA’s Lunabotics Challenge at Kennedy Space Center. Their design, tested on a campus sand court, could one day help protect Artemis launch pads, fuel depots, and even future moon habitats using locally mined regolith.
