VIENNA, VA — Supervisor Walter Alcorn (D-Hunter Mill) will host a summer town hall meeting next week, giving residents an opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns and hear updates on several major redevelopment projects affecting the Reston and Vienna areas.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Vienna Town Hall, 127 Center St. South in Vienna.
The event will feature an open forum where residents can speak directly with Alcorn about issues affecting the Hunter Mill District. The supervisor is also expected to provide updates on several high-profile projects, including the new Vienna-Carter Library, the Reston Town Center North redevelopment, and the proposed Crescent Apartments redevelopment, which includes the possible relocation of the Reston Community Center at Lake Anne.
Residents who are unable to wait until the meeting can submit questions in advance by emailing the Hunter Mill District office. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the town hall.
County officials said the meeting is intended to provide updates on major district initiatives while giving residents an opportunity to share feedback and discuss community priorities directly with their elected supervisor.
Anyone seeking additional information or requesting reasonable ADA accommodations can contact the Hunter Mill District office by email or by calling 703-478-0283 (TTY 711). The town hall is open to the public.
