Alexandria City Academy Is Accepting Applications for Fall 2016 Session
City Academy teaches about local government through first-hand experience with a wide range of City functions, services and activities.

From the City of Alexandria:
The City of Alexandria is now accepting applications for the Fall 2016 session of the Alexandria City Academy. The nine-week program begins on Wednesday, September 7, and each additional class will be held on the following eight Thursday nights.
The City Academy helps participants learn about local government through first-hand experience with a wide range of City functions, services, activities and issues.

Classes are held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at various locations. The program is open to Alexandria residents and business owners, and class size is limited.
To submit an application online, visit here. To have an application mailed or faxed to you, or call 703.746.HELP (4357). Applications are also available at City Hall, 301 King St., Room 1900. The application deadline is Friday, July 29.
