The most recent reported crimes in the City of Alexandria, according to reports made to RAIDS Online by the Alexandria Police Department.

  • 7:49 a.m., Residential Burglary, 32XX Wellington Road
  • 10:27 a.m., Burglary from Motor Vehicle, 6XX N. St. Asaph Street: Unknown suspect/s stole victim’s cell phone from his unlocked vehicle while he was dropping his child off at the day care center.
  • 11:36 a.m., Burglary from Motor Vehicle, 16XX Russell Road; Victim reported unknown suspect/s entered her unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway at her residence and stole credit cards from her wallet and a pair of shoes.
  • 2:25 p.m., Residential Burglary, 3XX Cameron Station, Unknown suspect/s stole a bicycle from victim’sopen garage at this location
  • 2:50 p.m., Theft, 3XX King Street; victim reported he inadvertently left his school-issued tablet in his biology class and when he went to retrieve it the tablet was gone.
  • 3:13 p.m., Residential Burglary, 3XX Fucci Court, Victim reported unknown suspect/s stole a bicycle from the garage at her residence at this location
  • 3:34 p.m., Sexual Assault, E. Reed Avenue; no further information was given
  • 3:53 p.m., Residential Burglary, Sunset Drive
  • 4:30 p.m., Police arrested a subject found in an overgrown field at this location intentionally inhaling chemicals from store bought aerosol cans. 31XX Jefferson Street

  • 2:36 a.m. N. Pegram Street and Talbot Place; unknown suspect tampered with several vehicles in the area, but nothing was taken.
  • 7:05 a.m., Suspicious activity noted at this location. Someone in dark clothing was on the back porch of the residence at this location. 3XX E. Nelson Avenue
  • 8:06 a.m., Burglary from Motor Vehicle, 16XX Commonwealth Avenue; unknown suspect/s stole a GPS from victim’s unlocked vehicle parked in the alley at this location.
  • 9:28 a.m., Burglary from Motor Vehicle, 4XX E. Monroe St.; unknown suspect/s entered victim’s unlocked vehicle parked adjacent to her residence and stole several items.
  • 11:29 a.m., 44XX Duke Street; a purse was found and turned over to police.
  • 12 noon, Burglary from Motor Vehicle, 3XX Calvert Ave. Victim reported unknown suspect/s entered his vehicle by unknown means and ransacked the interior while stealing prescription narcotic pills from his vehicle parked outside his residence

  • 10:22 a.m., Shoplifting, 16XX N. Quaker Hill Drive
  • 12:19 p.m., 9XX Prince Street; manager of apartment building at this location reported unknown suspect/s kicked in a common area entrance door and broke a vase standing in that area
  • 1:16 p.m., Police arrested a suspect for Trespassing on property after having been previously barred
  • 3:10 p.m., 37XX Commonwealth Avenue; police arrested a suspect for Trespassing
  • 4:05 p.m., Disorderly Conduct, 2XX W. Reed Suspect arrested for urinating in public.
  • 5:15 p.m., Vandalism, 5XX N. Henry Street, Unknown suspect/s broke the rear driver’s side door window of victim’s vehicle parked in the underground garage at this location.
  • 6:20 p.m., 61XX Edsall Road, Father reported that his daughter left her 3 year old son alone, but there was apparent lack of communication, since a sitter was to be present.
