Alexandria Crime Report: Two Sex Assaults Over Holiday Weekend

There were two sex assaults reported in the City of Alexandria over the holiday weekend.

Both incidents took place in the western part of the City. One incident took place in the 5600 block of Derby Court on Saturday afternoon and the other took place in the 2700 block of Park Center Drive on Friday afternoon. Both cases are listed on RAIDS Online as “open,” meaning no arrests have been made.

• Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2:28 p.m.: Individual Robbery, Edsall and Reynolds Street
• Wednesday, Dec. 24, 6 p.m.: Residential Burglary, 61XX Edsall Road

• Friday, Dec. 26, 4:27 a.m.: Aggravated Assault, 8XX W. Glebe Road
• Friday, Dec. 26, 9:52 a.m.: Aggravated Assault, 38XX Mt. Vernon Ave.
• Friday, Dec. 26, 9:52 a.m.: Individual Robbery, 38XX Mt. Vernon Ave.
• Friday, Dec. 26, 4:07 p.m.: Sex Assault at 27XX Park Center Dr.

• Saturday, Dec. 27, 5:05 p.m.: Sex Assault, 56XX Derby Court
• Saturday, Dec. 27, 5:46 p.m.: Aggravated Assault, 56XX Derby Court
