Alexandria Police Investigate Fatal Vehicle Crash

For Immediate Release: September 29, 2020

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, in the 900 block of N. Washington Street. At approximately 12:30 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle crash. Mr. Meigs Hodge, a 56-year-old City resident, was identified as being a driver of one of the involved vehicles. Mr. Hodge was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Members of the Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating the crash. Witnesses to this crash or persons with video footage are asked to contact Officer Nancy Gordon at 571-289-6794.
