UPDATE: Alexandria Police Investigating Death in Lincolnia Area
Police sent out an alert Thursday morning saying to expect police activity in the area.
Alexandria Police responded Thursday morning, around 9:49 a.m. to a report of a person found deceased behind a building in the 5800 block of Quantrell Ave., in the Lincolnia area of the City.
When they arrived, police located the victim, a 21 year-old male. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause and manner of death will be determined through an autopsy.
