Annual Doggie Day Swim is Saturday, Sept. 20 in Alexandria

Got a furry friend at home who loves to swim? Mark your calendar for Saturday, Sept. 20. That’s the date of Alexandria’s Annual Doggie Day Swim.

Set from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Rain Date: TBD), it will be held at the Old Town Pool, 1609 Cameron St. in Alexandria.

The event is a celebration of the end of the pool season for dogs and their owners. Old Town Pool will remain open for dogs only, to swim and play courtesy of Your Dog’s Best Friends.

Activity Code: 140950-01: Register online in advance to reserve space for your dog.

Note: Bring your own doggie dish for water. Dog handlers must be 16 or older. All dogs should wear current vaccination tags or proof of vaccinations must be shown. For information call (703) 746-5435.
