Authentically Amish Fine Furnishings Closing

After twelve years of business, Authentically Amish Fine Furnishings will be closing its doors May 31.  

"The lease was up and the landlord wanted more money, so I decided it was time to close the store," said owner Chris St. Pierre.

Over the past month, the store has been offering big discounts on their inventory and there are "just a few miscellaneous pieces left," St. Pierre said.

"Our last day is May 31 and we need to be completely cleaned out by then," he added.

The store will not be opening in another location. St. Pierre said he is planning to move to Maine to be closer to family.

Authentically Amish Fine Furnishings is located at 4609 Duke Street, Alexandria in the Foxchase Shopping Center.
