Bishop Ireton Senior Audrey Sisel to Row for Creighton University
"We are thrilled she will be rowing at a Division I school," says Coach Mary Jordan.
Bishop Ireton’s Audrey Sisel ’14, has signed a National Letter of Intent to row for Creighton University next year, according to a news release from Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria.
As a Bishop Ireton Cardinal, Audrey was a strong starboard and rowed bow seat most of the time, the school noted.
About her decision to go to Creighton, located in Omaha, Neb., Audrey said: “I loved the atmosphere and the people at Creighton. I am also continuing a family tradition; both my great grandfather and my parents went to Creighton.”
Coach Mary Jordan said, “We are thrilled she will be rowing at a Division I school and continuing the rowing excellence which started at Ireton.”
