Bradlee Shopping Center Hair Cuttery Moving
The hair salon will stay in the shopping center.
If you get your hair cut at the Hair Cuttery at Bradlee Shopping Center, you'll soon be going elsewhere, but you won't have to go far.
The hair salon, at 3610 King St., currently sandwiched between SunTrust and Crave, a frozen yogurt shop, is moving a few doors down in the same row of shops and will soon be located at 3622 King St., next door to National Art and Framing (formerly All Around Art).
No official word on when the move will be made, but employees said this week it will likely be in June. A peek inside the new location shows some salon fixtures in place; the sign above the new location is currently covered.

The new location was last occupied by Hardwood Artisans, which moved to Shirlington Village.
The shopping center is owned and operated by Rockville-based Washington Real Estate Investment Trust.

Two spaces still up for grabs in the same corner of the shopping center are the large space once occupied by longtime tenant Blockbuster Video. That space is 6,610 square feet, according to the Washington Real Estate Investment Trust Web site; the other available retail space is a corner spot once occupied by Bradlee Florist, which has 2,583 square feet of space available.
The new Hair Cuttery location will be closer to the "old-school" Bradlee Barber Shop.
What would you like to see go in to the spot the Hair Cuttery is leaving?
