Congressman Moran to Host Final Women's Issues Conference
Event is free of charge, open to 8th District: Car care, interview skills, building your network, understanding the Affordable Care Act.
Congressman Jim Moran, Northern Virginia Democrat, will host his 2014 Women’s Issues Conference Saturday, Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Washington-Lee High School, 1301 N. Stafford St. in Arlington. This year’s keynote speaker will be Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress.
The event is free of charge and open to all 8th District residents.
In addition to health screenings, exhibits, and free professional photos, a series of breakout seminars on a range of topics impacting women will be held.
