Fire Officials Charge Suspect in Fire at Bailey's Crossroads Restaurant

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators have charged Dagmawi A. Derago, 30, with setting fire to the Babylon Café, 3501 S. Jefferson Street in Falls Church, on Monday, Oct. 27.

He was charged with one count of Virginia Code 18.2-81 burning personal property, and one count of 18.2-86, setting fire to woods, grass, and fences.

Damage is estimated at $200. Derago is being held in the Fairfax County Detention Center.
