Many couples and ex-couples have big issues that are hard for them to discuss and resolve. Sometimes the issues are legal (e.g., custody, visitation, estates, divorce). Sometimes the issues are about how they raise their children or how they handle money. Sometimes the issues are about what they communicate about and how they communicate.
In many cases, one or more meetings with a family mediator can help a pair of people make real progress or even fully resolve an issue. Family mediators are trained to help people negotiate constructively about tough issues in a private, confidential setting.
Do you know anyone who might welcome such an opportunity? On November 9, FREE family mediation sessions will be available in McLean. This event is for any couple or ex-couple that wants to work on a dispute or a tough issue. Registration is required so that the right number of mediators will be available. People can register at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/8899094431.
