Grace Episcopal School

A few spaces remain for the 2026–27 school year at Grace Episcopal School. Now is a wonderful time to begin your journey with us. At Grace, we are small by design, creating a close-knit community where each child is truly known, valued, and supported. We serve students from preschool (ages 3) through 5th grade, providing a warm, consistent environment where children can grow with confidence over time. We believe in honoring the gift of childhood—nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning through joyful, hands-on experiences that meet students where they are developmentally. Our program is thoughtfully designed to balance strong academics with social-emotional growth, fostering confidence, kindness, and a lifelong enthusiasm for discovery. Hammond Middle School will be open on Wednesday, June 3, and will follow a normal schedule. The air conditioning repair work has been completed in the sixth grade wing. The school was closed Monday and Tuesday for repairs to the air conditioning system.Two other Alexandria schools — Maury and Lyles Crouch — experienced electricity problems on Tuesday but remained open.

Little Shop of Horrors follows nerdy florist Seymour Krelborn, who finds fame and fortune after discovering a mysterious, alien plant he names "Audrey II". The R&amp;B-singing, man-eating plant is very demanding, forcing Seymour to do his bidding.
Little Shop of Horrors centers on themes of fatal ambition, greed, and the high cost of success. It explores the dangers of giving in to temptation, the exploitation of the poor, and the destruction caused by unbridled desire.
The musical features a mix of dark comedy, rock-and-roll, and doo-wop music, exploring themes of greed and sacrifice. Performed by 46 Alexandria youth, this promises to be one of the most dynamic and entertaining local production you will see this year.
