Here’s a solution: Free family mediation sessions are available November 9 in McLean. (They may also be available Nov. 10. Check with the organizer.)
Family mediators are trained to assist people in managing difficult discussions and resolving tough issues. Mediators help people negotiate constructively in a private, confidential setting. Five or more mediators will be available to serve at least 20 families.

- couples who struggle with a surplus of invitations and demands from various relatives
- divorced or estranged co-parents who need to plan holiday schedules for their children, and
- Any couple or ex-couple that wants to work on a tough issue.
