Honoring 9/11 Victims: Find Regional Events
Public events held in Arlington, Woodbridge, Leesburg and elsewhere.

Washington, D.C., commuters and area residents will be remembering the tragic events of Sept. 11 and the local lives lost in the attack on the Pentagon, the World Trade Center and Flight 93.
While normally open to guests, The Pentagon Memorial will be closed to the public Thursday morning from 6-11 a.m. for a private event for the families of those lost. The memorial will be open to the public afterwards.

Arlington County wreath-laying ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Courthouse Plaza flagpole, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. More info.

City of Alexandria moments of silence.
The Prince William County Board of County Supervisors will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the county complex off the Prince William County Parkway in Woodbridge.
Remembrance Ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday on the Leesburg town green, 25 West Market Street. Open to the public and held rain or shine. More info.
