Seriously, what is going on with the street light situation on Braddock and Van Dorn under the 395 freeway?
There are SIX street lamp posts. Four of them don't work, and never turn on. One of them is literally down in pieces, lying in the gutter, and the sole remaining light is left to illuminate the entire underpass.
What's more, this situation has been this way ever since I moved into the neighborhood. A lot of people walk under that overpass, whether they are coming from the bus, the library, CVS or the gym on Van Dorn, or whether they are out for an evening jog.
This is dangerous, and it's irresponsible on the city's part to leave it unattended for so long. If it was once considered in need of 6 street lamps, then having just one isn't going to cut it in the meantime.
Dear Patch Readers, do you know anything about this?
