ALEXANDRIA, VA -- An Alexandria Police Department Vice Unit search warrant removed drugs and a gun from a convicted felon Friday, according to a post on Facebook by the department.

“Removal from the suspect=removal from our City streets,” the department said in a post.
The warrant was served off Beauregard Street in the West End area of Alexandria.
