Police Investigate Calls of 'Shots Fired' in West End Alexandria

The Alexandria Police Department was investigating several “shots fired” calls in the 5300 block of Duke Street Tuesday night, according to a notification posted on social media by the department.

The time of the notifications on Twitter and Facebook were between 9 and 10 p.m.

Fairfax County Police Department were assisting, with helicopter flyover to check the area for suspicious activity, according to the notification.
