Police Report Assault, Robbery Saturday Night in Alexandria

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating an assault and robbery overnight in the 5000 block of Seminary Road.

Police say the victim was assaulted, and money was stolen after a small gathering in a hotel room.

Police did not say what time the incident took place, but an alert was sent out by police at 3:22 a.m. No information was released about a suspect or the extent of the victim’s injuries.
