Ridgeleigh at Van Dorn Named a 'Top Apartment Community'

Waterton Residential is pleased to announce that its community, Ridgeleigh at Van Dorn Apartments has been awarded an Apartment Community Excellence (PACE) Award from the Property Management Association, a Bethesda, Md.-based non-profit organization that represents nearly 2,500 members in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

This marks the second year in a row that Ridgeleigh at Van Dorn has been honored with this prestigious award. Applicants are judged by a panel of experienced property management professionals who visit each community and score it based on a set of weighted criteria designed to identify outstanding operations and resident service offerings.

The Property Management Association named Ridgeleigh at Van Dorn the top apartment community in the “Market Rate – Virginia” category for properties with average monthly rents between $1,501 and $1,700. Located in Alexandria, the 360-unit community features a mix of newly renovated one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 589 to 1,081 square feet. All residences feature updated kitchens and baths, spacious walk-in closets and an in-unit washer and dryer. Select units also feature private patios and balconies, gas fireplaces and attached garage parking.

Residents also have access to a variety of community amenities, including a luxury clubhouse, 24-hour fitness center, and an outdoor recreation pool and Olympic-length lap pool, as well as free shuttle service to and from the Van Dorn Metro station. In addition, Ridgeleigh at Van Dorn offers convenient access to Interstates 95, 395 and the Capital Beltway, and is minutes from Kingstowne Towne Center and historic Old Town Alexandria, known for its vibrant arts scene and high-end boutiques and restaurants along the Potomac River.
