Saltbox, Flexible Warehouse Space For Businesses, Opens In Alexandria
Saltbox's new Alexandria location offers co-warehousing and office suites near the Van Dorn Street Metro.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Saltbox, a co-warehousing space for businesses, has opened its newest location in the West End of Alexandria near the Van Dorn Street Metro.
This is the sixth location for Saltbox, which offers warehouse and office spaces in major metropolitan areas. The 45,000-square-foot Alexandria location at 4700 Eisenhower Avenue has 85 flexible warehouse and office suites. Member businesses can also access conference rooms, flexible office space, loading docks, a photo studio, daily package carrier pickups and more. Operation specialists are available to help businesses with logistics like receiving and sorting.
"Expanding our footprint into the Washington, D.C. metro area has been our top priority, given it serves as the region’s central hub for growing e-commerce, tech and consumer companies," said Saltbox CEO and Cofounder Tyler Scriven in a statement. "Alexandria is an important strategic node for the Saltbox network. We strive to eliminate the pains of logistics and shipping with our offering, and look forward to continuing to help our members grow their businesses."

The co-warehousing spaces are geared toward e-commerce businesses to help them grow. Many of Saltbox's 300 plus member businesses at its six locations are e-commerce businesses, and half are led by women or people of color.
Saltbox's other locations are in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles and Seattle, and its first fulfillment hub was opened earlier this year in Columbus, Ohio.
