Traffic Alert: Northbound I-395 Lane Closures at Seminary Road

VDOT says there will be temporary lane closures each night Friday, Dec. 19 through Tuesday, Dec. 23 due to bridge demolition.

In the overnight hours Friday, Dec. 19 through Tuesday, Dec. 23, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close multiple lanes of I-395 North at Seminary Road for bridge demolition, according to the agency. Motorists should expect delays.

All traffic on I-395 North must exit at the Seminary Road exit (exit 4), and will be detoured across Seminary Road and back to I-395 North.

Advance message signs will be posted to alert motorists to the temporary traffic configuration and police will direct traffic at the ramps. This work is weather permitting, and all lanes will reopen at 4:30 a.m.
