Tuesday Closures and Delays in Alexandria
Region is expecting snow throughout the day Tuesday.
The National Weather Service has issuedĀ a Winter Storm WarningĀ in effect from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday for Alexandria and the D.C. region. As much as 6 to 10 inches of snow are expected. Also, a wind chill advisory is in effectĀ from 6 p.m. Tuesday toĀ noon on Wednesday.
Federal offices in the Washington, DC area are closed. Emergency and telework-ready employees required to work must follow their agencyās policies, including written telework agreements.Ā
Alexandria government offices and facilities will be open as scheduled Tuesday, with unscheduled leave permitted for non-emergency personnel.
