Water Main Break Closes N. Beauregard Street at King Street
Alexandria Police sent out an alert about the closure at 6 a.m. Saturday. Crews were still working on fixing the break late Saturday.
Alexandria Police say Saturday morning that N. Beauregard Street at King Street is closed due to a water main break. The area is a busy intersection with a TGIFridays restaurant on the corner.
Arlington County is just across the intersection.
N. Beauregard Street traffic is being diverted thru a parking lot at the intersection with King Street, according to police, who sent out their first alert at about 6 a.m. Saturday. Only one lane eastbound on King Street is open, according to police.
