1 Shot In Woodbridge, Injuries Life-Threatening: Police

The Moonbeam Drive incident remains under investigation.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — One person sustained life-threatening injuries in a shooting Saturday in Woodbridge, authorities said.

Police reported the shooting at 2:20 p.m. in the 5800 block of Moonbeam Drive. The Prince William County Police Department anticipated a heavy law-enforcement presence in the area.

The victim was a 17-year-old boy, according to NBC Washington's Dominique Moody. Officials have not publicly identified the victim.
