2 Arrested After Fatal Shooting Near Woodbridge Pool: Police
Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy in Woodbridge on Saturday, authorities said.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in Woodbridge on Saturday, the Prince William County Police Department announced.
Authorities identified the suspects as 21-year-old Jordan Sickles of Haymarket and 18-year-old Re’Kwon Barnett of Gainesville. They were both arrested on Monday. Their court dates are pending and they are being held without bond.
Sickles is charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Barnett is charged with accessory after the fact.

If convicted, Sickles could spend the rest of his life in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines. Barnett could face a five-year sentence.
Investigators said the victim drove to the area of Moonbeam Drive on Saturday after he arranged to buy or sell a firearm. After he arrived, someone shot the victim and stole his money before driving away.

First responders found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and provided first aid before taking him to an area hospital. He later died from his injuries, authorities said.
Investigators identified Sickles as the shooter and Barnett as his accomplice. Police officers arrested Sickles on Monday night. Barnett turned himself in on Monday.
