2022 Rape Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Woodbridge Man: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Authorities have arrested a Woodbridge man in connection with the sexual assault of a child in October 2022, the Prince William County Police Department announced.

Investigators said the victim was under the age of 13 when the assault occurred.

The police department identified the suspect as 26-year-old Ramon Antonio Trejo Quintanilla. He is charged with one count of rape.

If convicted, Trejo Quintanilla could spend the rest of his life in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines. His court date is pending.

The rape occurred at a home in Woodbridge on Oct. 15, 2022, according to the police report. Authorities said Trejo Quintanilla knew the victim, but they did not provide specific details.

The victim told a family member what happened. They then contacted a school counselor who notified the police department.

Trejo Quintanilla was arrested in Fairfax on Sunday, authorities said. He is now incarcerated.
