3 People Fatally Stabbed At Woodbridge Home: Prince William County Police Department

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Three people died after they were stabbed at a home in Woodbridge on Tuesday morning, the Prince William County Police Department said.

Authorities have identified the victims as a 67-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, and a 38-year-old man. The police department has not publicly named the victims as they work to notify the families.

Officials said the three people were family members.

In a news release, police officials said they are not looking for suspects. "The three parties believed to be involved in the altercation are accounted for, and there is no known threat to the community," the police department said.

The incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday at a home in the 5100 block of Cannon Bluff Drive in Woodbridge. When police officers arrived, they found the three victims suffering from stab wounds and began first aid.

The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Ambulances took the male victims to a nearby hospital, where they died as a result of their injuries.

Detectives are still investigating what led to the stabbing. Authorities noted that the 67-year-old victim called police to the scene.
